The "Perfect World Project" has students work in groups to create their own society with rules to govern, a map, a narrative, a comparison & contrast to 'real-life', and an analysis of its own essential flaws. A "Jobs Assignment" has student analyze how it would feel to be 'selected' for a particular career. There are questions to correlate with the viewing of the movie Pleasantville (viewing discretion involved). Finally, there is a culminating novel test with vocabulary and reading comprehension questions.
