Let your little Leprechauns have some fun while practicing their addition and subtraction facts!
There are 2 types of pages included for each booklet. Some already have the 2 sets to be added, indicated using different shamrocks, or a given subtraction word problem. Children write the math fact on the page. The other pages allow the student to choose how many shamrocks to color to create the sets or to choose how many hats to take away from the total, then record the math fact. The pages are not numbered, so you may choose the pages you want to include in each booklet, up to 14 possible facts for each booklet (1 fact per ½ page), or use the special cover page to mix addition & subtraction in the same booklet for a larger, more challenging variety with up to 28 math facts!
This booklet can be printed single or double sided. After printing, staple on the left and cut the booklet in half, creating 2 copies of the booklet.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Terry Palmieri specializes in the development and implementation of standard-based educational math and literacy activities for students in K - 2nd grade. During her 25 years of experience as a classroom teacher for students in the first three grade levels, she gravitated toward the use and development of interactive center activities to maximize learning. Positive feedback from colleagues who participated in her local and statewide workshops prompted Terry to share this experience-based expertise with other educators through her teacher-friendly math activity resources. Terry served as the Math Specialist in a Primary Project Child classroom with the Palm Beach County School Board for 5 years. She continues to develop standard-based educational math and literacy activities for students in K - 2nd grade. Her students' success with innovative interactive center activities and their enthusiasm for learning ignites her passion for continuous improvement.
