In this file are 6 literacy games that fit perfectly in literacy stations or centers for word work. All have recording sheets and are St. Patrick's Day themed.
Games:
*Synonym match
*Adjective/Noun match-students will match an adjective to a noun and will write and draw a picture to match it. This can be open ended and have many possibilities for outcomes and will definitely allow you to know if your students understand adjectives and nouns
*Long and Short O sort-students sort words into long (like gold) and short (like pot) and record their sort.
*ABC Order-students will order St. Patrick related words
*Alliteration Sort-students will sort phrases that have alliteration and phrases that don't.
*Sentence Fix-students will fix sentences. There are 6 sentences that also contain alliteration.
I also have a St. Patrick's Day Math packet with games too!

I spent hours making Saint Patrick activities for centers and then found this lovely set that were much cuter for the same skills. I found the variety to meet my classroom needs very well.
