This data unit includes collecting data on a packet of M&M's. Students will craeate a tally table for the amount of M&M's in their packet. Then, the students will create a pictograph, bar graph, and picture graph that represents the data on the tally table. There are also data questions to answer and a Venn Diagram to compare and contrast M&M's and Skittles.
I will be able to use this download throughout the entire year! I love how you included more than one type of graph.

Great end of unit activity. The kids really enjoyed doing these activities. I made extra questions to go along with this to make it a little more academically challenging. Thanks for sharing!

Hello Precious Perks,
I am also a seller on TpT and was wondering if you might answer a question for me. I was looking at the thumbnails for your product and noticed the m&m images. I would like to sell a product using m&m images, but when I emailed Mars Candy (owner of m&m's) asking for permission they denied usage of the images for my product. I was hoping that they would allow me to use their images as long as I gave them credit, but unfortunately that's not the case. I was wondering if there was a loop hole that enables you to use copyrighted images? Sorry for the long-winded email, but I would really appreciate any advice you can offer.
Thanks for your help,
Margaret
