This is designed as a group activity, but can be assigned as a culminating project for an individual as well. By locating and analyzing passages from the play that highlight one of Shakespeare's motifs [blood, hands, etc.] students learn to see how motifs point the reader to the author's theme. The product is a poster with passages from the play, a decorative symbol and a written summary of the author's theme.
