This PowerPoint lesson covers the following terms/topics: Matter, Mass, How to Use the Triple Beam Balance, and Grams and Kilograms.

What's the Matter? Everything! is a 42 slide presentation (part 1 is 20 slides). Due to the number of slides and the numerous pictures provided as examples for how to measure mass and volume, this file is too big to be included as 1 product. Therefore, I split the presentation and the price. If you purchase this and want Part 2. It can be view by clicking below.

MATTER, WEIGHT, MASS & VOLUME- PowerPoint Lessons part 2

Part 2 of the lesson covers the following terms/topics: The Difference between Mass and Weight, Volume, The Graduated Cylinder, Milliliters, Cubic Centimeters, Using The Formula for Finding the Volume of Regular Solids, and Using Water Displacement to Find the Volume of Irregular Solids.

If you purchase this product, please give some feedback. If you give your money, you might as well add your two cents too. Just click the Rating&Feedback tab and Scroll to the bottom (if necessary). It REALLY only takes seconds.

### TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Subject Area:

I have taught for 12 years in a school with a very diverse population. My inclusion classrooms include special education students who perform academically as low as 1st or 2nd grade. My enriched classes have students with college reading levels and some that are taking Math classes with 7th and 8th grade. Having lessons and activities that can be adapted to varying ability levels is critical.
