This resource is proving to be very useful to me. This is my first year teaching Macbeth, and the booklet I purchased has excellent and pertinent background information on the time period, as well as comprehension questions and activities. It is well laid out, easy to find what you are looking for, and much of it is in student friendly language. Thank you for making my job a little bit easier!

Does this guide offer suggestions as to which parts of the text teachers should be focusing on and emphasizing? I am a first year teacher, and I was given a class and told to teach Shakespeare. I admit that Shakespeare is not a strong point of mine, and I'm fearful that I am not focusing on the most important lines from the play. I am just kind of picking out lines that speak to me, but I'm looking for some guidance on choosing sections of the text that help teach.
I wish teachers would post their notes in the margins of their books next to passages because I'm fearful I'm missing the most important details!
