This is a 34-page, visual Power Point presentation about Shakespeare's play, Macbeth. It includes a historical overview of the characters, setting and plot of Macbeth.
I use this Power Point to build background knowledge about the real events and people depicted in the play. I've selected lots of visually stunning paintings and photos to help students see some of the key elements regarding plot and characters in the play.
This file is ideal for printing out and placing on a bulletin board.
I've also included some great "ready to play" links to free (legal) videos of experts discussing the literary elements such as character and setting in Macbeth as well as a free link to a current film production.

Hello, I took a look at this presentation. I found, as you said, a couple of missing commas and periods. I've fixed what I saw but most of the errors were minor and didn't impede the readability of the information. I teach a Shakespeare class at my high school and I've used this presentation with great result. I hope you found it useful otherwise. Cheers.

I double checked my links and they all worked for me. Try copying and pasting the link directly into the browser. I've placed the links in the boxes so hopefully one or the other might work. I wonder if you may need to update your plugins. Last checked 11/5/12. Worked fine.
