This is a recording sheet used for my kindergaren students for a magnet experiment. Each table is given a tray of items (same as the ones on the sheet), and magnets. They are to first predict, then explore with the magnets to see if their predictions are correct. Then they record their findings and check their predictions. At the end, the students are to
write about their research and what they learned.
This is an easy way for kindergarteners to learn the scientific process (and it can all be done in a 15-20 minute time period if necessary!)
