***These are the SAME ACTIVITIES as the individual Make a Word! {Short Vowel} set, Make a Word! {Long Vowel} set, and the Make a Word! {Consonant Digraphs} set, it is just combined for a savings of $1.50 for all three sets! :)


Make a Word! is perfect for Word Work in literacy centers! These making words activities can be used to work with intervention students in a small group or as a Word Work choice! This activity includes a page for each of the short vowels {a, e, i, o, u}, each of the long vowels {a, e, i, o, u}, and four consonant digraphs {ch, sh, th, wh}.

Your kiddos can use magnetic letters, letter tiles, or the included printable letter squares, to make new words with each of the short and long vowel spelling patterns.

All of the short vowel activities follow the vowel-consonant-e pattern. All of the long vowel activities follow the vowel-consonant-e pattern, with the exception of e which follows the ea, ee pattern.
