Make a Word! is perfect for Word Work in literacy centers! These activities can be used to work with intervention students in a small group or as a Word Work choice! This activity includes a page for each of the short vowels {a, e, i, o, u}. Your kiddos can use magnetic letters, letter tiles, or the included printable letter squares, to make new words with each of the short vowel spelling patterns. All of the short vowel activities follow the vowel-consonant-e pattern.

I am new to this website and I had a problem when I downloaded the Make a word short vowels. I was wondering if you can send me a copy or let me know the process of getting a refund? I am new to 1st grade and trying to gather as many resources as I can and would love to use this. Hi Melmarie! I am so sorry about this! If it is blurry after you open it on a MAC or PC, install the latest version of ADOBE READER. Then, open the file with ADOBE READER.
On a MAC, make sure to OPEN with ADOBE READER and NOT Preview.
