Use this activity to have some in-depth discussions about making decisions with your children. Students create a cube and are given task cards on which is written a situation that they might face. Students roll the cube and if it lands on the smiley, they must think of a smart decision that they could make given the situation. If it lands on the "trouble" side, they must think of a decision that would be a poor decision. This teaches children to think about possible decisions and practice them before they occur.
