Students will use magnetic letters to spell words, practice beginning sounds, and complete an upper/lowercase letter matching activity.
This is great to practice spelling number words, color words, CVC words, etc. It is a super easy and independent center, to set up. Your students will be engaged throughout the year! :)
I will be excited to use these. My students like to use the magnets in my room and I had been trying to think of new ways to use them. I will be printing and laminating some of these and attaching them to my filing cabinet (where our abc magnets live.) Thanks for sharing!

Hi, I love these. Would you be willing to make a simple rubric to use with this word work activity? Thank you!
Hi There Caitlin I am getting an error message that says without the owner permission I don't have the password to save the document. I am trying to save the making words with magnetic letters. can you advise?
Make sure it is opening with Adobe and not with Preview. If you are then here are steps you can do to save it (one of these always works): First, if it is opened in Adobe go to file, save AS, pdf, and save from there. If that doesn't work go to the 'finder' on your computer where all of your downloads are automatically stored, find the file, drag it to your desktop, and save from there! Let me know if you need any more help!

Hi Caitlin, I cannot export the download without the owner's password. Is there a trick or secret to getting it? Connie
Hi Connie! I am not sure what you are trying to do? Where exactly are you exporting it to? There is not a password on the document; however, some computers ask for that to save the document. There are ways to get around it, try the following: Make sure it is opening with Adobe and not with Preview. If you are then here are steps you can do to save it (one of these always works): First, if it is opened in Adobe go to file, save AS, pdf, and save from there. I'm new to TPT and i'm super excited to find all this fun stuff for my kids. I have saved this download. I know that is is free but I was curious if missing part of the top picture on majority of the pages was something I did or something I can fix.
Nope it isn't missing anything---it is just that your Adobe needs to be updated. First, make sure it is opening in Adobe and not in Preview. If it is already in Adobe then go to 'My Purchases' on TPT and somewhere in the first paragraph it says 'Adobe' in red. Click on that and update your program. That should fix everything :)

Hi Caitlin, I love your products! Could you tell me what printer you use? My stuff just doesn't print as nicely as yours. I may need to buy something new. Thanks for any suggestions.
Hey! I just got my printer not too long ago. I bought it at the Apple store but it is an HP Photosmart 5510d series. I LOVE it!! It is wireless, prints VERY nicely, and even has a wonderful scanner!

Hi, I downloaded this but I am not allowed to save the PDF document without a password. It looks like an amazing product, but I can't save it :(
Hmm, I am not sure why, I think this is a computer problem. But, go to your downloads on your computer. Then drag the file out of your downloads onto your desktop and save it from there. That always works!

It won't let me save the file without a password. What is the password?
I just downloaded the freebie to see what the problem was and I was able to save it. The only password I have on this document is one that is protecting the clipart from being copied. Did you go to file, save as-pdf, and then rename it? Let me know :)
