Fun project suitable to be assigned at the end of an in-depth unit of study about mammals. My first graders did this project and had an absolute blast! We took a trip to the local zoo as part of our preparation for the project. I solicited parent involvement for the students and I found that everyone had a wonderful experience. They did such a phenomenal job on their projects that the projects were placed on display at the end-of-the year program for our school!
