TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching for 19 years. I taught 4th grade for 3 years, then moved down to 1st Grade. I taught 1st Grade for several years, then transitioned into 1st and 2nd Grade Multiage where I had the wonderful opportunity to team-teach. My teaching-partner and I had a very successful Multiage experience for 5 years until she had to move away. The year she left I was the Gifted K-5 Resource teacher for 3 schools, but I didn't enjoy not having my own classroom, so I returned to the classroom as a 2nd grade teacher. I have been teaching 2nd grade now for 5 years.
