It's a fun maps and globes word search!! If your students are like mine, they love these. I use them to introduce vocabulary, or even just give it as morning work. Use it however you would like in your classroom.
Also, it can be used as a literacy center if your students write about some of the words listed on the word search. They could also use ten words in a sentence to give you an idea of what they know about sentence structure, or have the kids look up the words in the dictionary or social studies book.
The words included are: axis, continents, equator, intermediate, legend, oceans, symbols, cardinal, degrees, globe, key, longitude, scale, title, compass rose, east, hemispheres, latitude, north pole, south pole, west
