The March Calendar journal is an incredible asset to have in your classroom. It can be used as an extension to your calendar activities or can be your sole calendar activity.
It is designed to finish a page each day, although if you would miss a day it would not be difficult to complete more than one.
It includes practice skills in:
-Yesterday, Today, & Tomorrow
-Tally Marks
-Days of the Week
-Syllables
-Months of the Year
-Full Date
-Holidays (St. Patrick's Day, Passover, Easter)
-Short Date
-Place Value
-Abbreviations

FYI: If you purchase this item, it will be available for free re-download every year with new dates so you can enjoy it every year!
They are designed to be used throughout the year. They start with the basics in August and get harder as the school year goes on. If they do not get more difficult as the year goes on, the kids don't feel challenged. If you are not satisfied, I would love to give you a copy of the August journal so you can see what I mean. Email me at semoellering@gmail.com and I would be happy to give it to you.

Hi Sarah,
I have purchased these calendars every month this year and I have noticed that there are a few typos in every calendar. They are usually the same typo. I just wanted to mention it before I purchased the April one because I didn't want those typos to be in the April one. My kids at school have actually noticed them too. On a few of the pages (5 and 15 and a couple others), it says "Find each date on your March calendar. Write the day of the week that for each date." There is that extra "that" at the end and it appears on several different pages. Please let me know. Thanks.
Thank you so much for letting me know! I will fix that error as soon as possible. I usually copy and paste the directions from calendar to calendar for consistency for the kiddos and I didn't even notice that! Drat!
Thanks for the heads up! I will check for it on the April calendar and have it fixed by next week.
