This 4 week packet is a wonderful supplement to any reading program. It is created to increase your students vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension skills. Each week includes 5 original fluency passages. The passages are a variety of poems, songs, fiction, and non-fiction. Each daily passage includes Power Words (vocabulary), a comprehension section, a home connection, and some other type of language arts activity. You can use these passages in a variety of ways. They could be used for a higher achieving small group, for high independent readers, or in a whole group setting. This months packet includes the following weekly themes: baking, Saint Patrick's Day, firefighters, and fishing.
