Here is a guided writing book and social studies lesson that celebrates the life of Martin Luther King. The book is designed for beginning writers and comes with a list of suggested writing prompts.If your students are more advanced, they can be creative and design their own story ideas. I use each page to teach a whole group lesson to model handwriting, sentence formation, capital letters and punctuation, proper spacing and phonemic awareness.
