This is a great activity to share with your students in celebration of Dr. King's life and dream. Activities are aligned with the Common Core Standards for grades 6-12 and include:
a copy of King's "I Have a Dream" speech with figurative language questions, general questions, social studies research project, writing prompt, word scramble, reader's theatre (theater) script example, service project, and additional activities to use in class.

I was expecting a lesson appropriate for middle school, high school, and adults. There's nothing special here. I can get the text just about anywhere, and I don't think a word scramble is rigorous enough for this level. I found this disappointing. . .at least it was FREE!

Perhaps you skimmed over the comprehension questions and answer key? The questions and responses are quite appropriate for 6-12 CCSS skills and can be challenging for the lower grades. The scramble is just an additional activity that may or may not be used, but can be an option for early finishers. Yes, the text is available online (which is why this is free--it is a copyright violation for anyone to sell the text). Obviously you are not happy with any of my free lessons, so maybe you should just stop downloading them.

Most of my experience is teaching high school English and journalism classes; however, for several years I taught an art history class.
