This is a 56-page workbook style book published by Scholastic. It was written for grades 1-3, although many of the activities are more than appropriate for MS and HS ESL students. It is in near-new condition. Only a poster from the back is missing. The many useful activities include readings, handouts, role playing ideas, timelines, songs, and poetry. They address the life of MLK, Jr., the Civil Rights Movement, diversity, and conflict resolution. All are reproducible.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I am a retired language teacher with 30 years of experience teaching French and ESL at the high school level. I helped to create the ESL program at our school when it became clear in the mid 1990's that our immigrant student population was growing very quickly , and we had no plan for how to educate them effectively. While I loved teaching French, teaching ESL was my passion! I taught everything from grammar to reading and usually found myself creating all my own materials as there was very little to choose from in the first several years of our program.
