Make a human body from a paper bag! This pack has the directions and patterns that you need to make interactive body parts. What a fun way to learn about our amazing bodies!
This was a big hit and very engaging for my students, they absolutely loved making this, and so much learning was taking place in a hands-on way! My second graders shared and "presented" to first grade students.
The kids LOVED this!! Even our teachers loved seeing our second graders turned inside out!

So cute and a great visual! Sent home the instructions and had my parents help their child with it! Students then had to tell about each part and what it does as a presentation grade.
This project is a great hands-on visual component to my first grade health lessons covering the body. They enjoy making it and I can't wait to see their faces when they make their body come to life!

This turned out great! We loved it. It took us about three weeks to complete during our healthy body unit and the kids really learned a lot!

We are only teaching the brain, skeleton, muscles, stomach and lungs to our second grades. Can the project be completed with only these systems?
Can you tell me what supplies are needed to compete this project? Besides the obvious paper copies and brown bags. I'm trying to determine from the picture what all is involved before I purchase it. Thanks!
Sure! Each student will need two straws, two-three ziplock bags (i actually use those jewlery bags for the stomach, a piece of candy, labels, yarn, and tape. :) thanks!
