Students will enjoy doing these Order of Operation with integer problems using the matching card game.
Make math fun with this matching card game. It can be used for reviewing or evaluating specific skills. It can also be used as an activating strategy or simply use it on a game day. The game takes approximately 20 minutes or less to play and is quick and easy to grade.
Print the worksheet using card stock. This will increase the durability of the cards and make them easier to use. Cut the cards apart and save each set in an envelope. Students can work individually or in pairs to play the game. Each card contains problems and answers around the edge of the card. The students match the problem on one card to the correct answer on another card. When the game is finished, the cards will form a 3 x 4 grid. To check to see if the cards have been matched correctly, simply check to see if the letters in the middle of the cards are in the correct order.

I ordered your worksheet order of operations 1 and received a page of problems with no instructions. Could you send me some instructions?

To check to see if the cards have been matched correctly, simply have the student record their answers on my free Matching Game Recording sheet and check to see if the letters in the middle of the cards are in the correct order (the same order as the sheet before you cut the squares apart).

Hi I purchased the product and solved the problems but many have the same answer or there is more than one with the same answer. I can't get it to spell anything. How are the kids supposed to play, I do not understand the description. Do they put them all upside down and pick one, then pick another to see if the answer is on that card or vise versa? What do you mean about the letters in the center, what are they supposed to match or spell? I am very confused and usually able to figure these things out. The game came with no instructions. Help please.

The game that you purchased is kind of complicated because there are some duplicate answers. The puzzle doesn't spell anything. If you keep the words "Integers-Order of operations 1" all at the bottom of each card, then when you finish solving the problems, you will have 4 rows and on each row there will be 3 cards. The big letters that are in the center of each card should be O M K T R P Z X V F D B
