Finally some sweet and simple speed tests for our kinders and first graders! I looked and looked and didn't find what I wanted so I created these!
These little challenges provide addition and subtraction practice to support the Common Core Standards, and little ones LOVE them because it makes them feel like big kids!
K.OA.6- Kindergarteners are to be fluent in addition and subtraction within 5.
1.OA.6- First graders are to be fluent in addition and subtraction within 10.
Included are 30 quizzes to take you well into the school year!
Quizzes 1-9 are addition with 10 problems each, covering 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, 4-5, 5-6, 6-7, 7-8, 8-9, 9-10.
Quizzes 10-18 are subtraction that also have 10 problems each and also progress by twos.
Quizzes 19-21 are addition with 15 problems each, covering 0-4, 5-7, and 7-10.
Quizzes 22-24 also have 15 problems each and are subtraction facts to 4, to 7, and to 10.
Quizzes 25-27 are mixed addition and subtraction with 15 problems each.
The final three quizzes are challenge quizzes with 25 problems each, first addition, then subtraction and finally a mix of all 3.
I have included answer keys for each quiz in case you would like the students to grade themselves! My students LOVE this!
In addition there are 2 reward pages for each child to keep track of their success by coloring in a little bone!
My students loved this challenge and were so excited by their progress! I hope yours will gain as much from it as mine did.

I think its a good idea and concept, but not suitable for my kinder class. :-/ Equations are too close together and would be difficult for my students to write their number without getting confused with the next equation. Can you separate the equations a bit more? I'd really like to use it, since I purchased it. Thanks. :-)
