The mouse ran up the clock... this file is an up and at 'em activity for your students. There are 4 versions... an easier one with clocks showing o'clocks and 3 harder versions with :15, :30 and :45.
Teachers place the 12 clocks around the room and give each student a Hickory Dickory Dock worksheet. The kids roam the room determining and recording the time for each clock.

My second graders love love love the Math Game board - Clocks - Hickory Dickory Dock. I keep mixing the boards up around the room. Have you ever made a similar activity with money? If not, my idea is something with How much is that doggie in the window? Then a pictures of coins the children could count. The same format as Hickory Dickory Dock with different levels. Just an idea and a bit of wondering~

I agree with other people. I can't really use this product because it's not true time. I like your creativity though.
If you ever get to change the clocks, let me know.
I apologize... I'll look into a new font!
2/8/12... I just updated the file with :00 :15 :30 and :45 with great clocks.

I was pumped to see your product and my kids really enjoyed it. However, I have to agree with Kimarnold's comment about the hour hand not pointing in between the 2 numbers when it was like 6:30, 7:50, etc. I was also wondering why the clock hands were different on clock 1 versus all the other clocks? Thanks!
Hi Angie
I'm glad your students enjoyed the activity. As far as the hands on the clock... it is a font that I purchased. I have contacted the company to see if that can be fixed to be more accurate. When that happens I will update the file and send a notice to all of you.
Thanks so for comment.

I love this product. It offers the kids a lot of practice with time. A lot of my second graders are challenged by clocks! One thing that really throws them is that the hour hand points between the numbers at half-past the hour -- and all the times on the "uphill side" of the clock. If you ever decide to add more practice clocks and could show the hour hand "in between," I'd buy the set all over again! For now, I look forward to watching my class enjoy the clocks and practice telling time! Thanks!
I love my days!! Mother by morning, teacher by afternoon and mom by night. I have taught second grade for the past 19 years. I am truly living my childhood dream. I love helping my kiddos engage and explore for more knowledge and opportunities.
