Are you looking for a way to differentiate instruction and meet the needs of your early finishers in math class?
A math contract consists of a grid of math activity choices based upon my math curriculum. My students are expected to complete 9-12 points on each weekly contract, and they should try complete at least one activity in every column. The activities range from 1 to 3 points, with 1-point choices being lower-level thinking activities, to the 3-point choices which are more complex, higher-order thinking activities. Students may work on their contracts during math stations in class as well as at home.
In my classroom, students earn a class dollar for each point they complete. Feel free to modify the activity choices to meet your needs. Please contact me if you need the file in pdf format.
