Update: I have added rockets that can be printed on 11x17 paper so more clips can fit on the rockets.
Note: This is a rocket motivational program. There are NO math facts in this pack.
Helping kids master math facts has been one of the things that I have always struggled with...that is until we started using Rocket Math. It is a very systematic program that has my second graders flying through their math facts! Out of 19 kids-6 are working on addition facts, 7 are working on subtraction facts, and 6 are working on multiplication facts! Wow! And it is only October! These rockets really motivate the kiddos...they love to move their clip down the rocket...counting down to BLAST OFF!

Rocket math only goes through level W for multiplication and possibly division... I can't remember exactly. The addition and subtraction go through Z.

Are you using a Mac? You need to make sure that you are not opening the document in 'Preview'...You have to actually open it with the Adobe program. Thank should work for you. Let me know.

Try this link...it should take you to an informational video and more information. Our school system bought this for the whole corporation, but you may be able to buy a class pack. Most of my 2nd graders (I teach high 3rd grade math to them though) have passed addition and subtraction and are working on multiplication or are finished with it...I'm not doing division with them. :) Hope this helps!

This Rocket goes along with the Otter Creek Institute program for math fact mastery. I included a link to their website for you in the packet. Just click on that, and it will take you to a PDF file that will give you more info about the program. It works really well. The letters are the levels that the kids work through. The part of the program that we use this for is called 'Mastering Math Facts' We call it Rocket Math because they use a rocket in the packet..I just don't like the one that they use! :) Thanks!

I have been teaching for 25 years. I have taught kindergarten and 1st grade...then began to loop with 2nd and 3rd graders. I absolutely loved looping! It was so exciting to watch the growth in those little buggers over a two year period....and talk about getting attached! Those little people, their families and I became very close. We stopped looping a few years ago when we changed principals. I'm trying to talk my new principal into letting me team teach with a friend....we just want to knock out one of the walls!
