I've been using your spring prompts the past 2 months. I love the higher level thinking that kids are using to find multiple answers. We have great math talks after they work independently. Thanks a bunch!!

Thanks for making it easy for students to do a math journal. I just bought it and with only 19 days left in school I won't get to use it much this year. I am looking forward to using this from the start next year.

I am teaching a K/1 this year and just discovered your work. I hope not to be teaching 1st again for awhile so I don't want to purchase the whole year of math prompts. Is it possible for me to just buy your last spring set?
Yes, I have it for sell in my store:) Thanks so much for your interest in my products!!!

Hi! I was wondering if your writing math prompts match the first grade CCSS? You have both 1st and 2nd grade identified as the instructional level, but I can't read the examples you've thumb-nailed to see closely enough as to what level/age these best fit. I'd like to get math writing prompts for the first grade CCSS. Thanks for getting back to me!
I teach first grade CC standards and these work great in my classroom. You can check out the skills that are covered in each set in the product descriptions.
Thanks for your interest in my products:)

Anna,
This looks excellent. Do you know if anyone has anything similar for 4th graders? I love this idea and working within the B.U.I.L.D. Framework! So creative!
Oh my goodness! I have no idea why it's doing that! Make sure you didn't select to buy an additional license. If that doesn't work, please contact TpT because it must be something on their end not working!
Thanks so much for your interest in my store! I hope you enjoy the math journal prompts:)

Hi Anna! I enjoy reading your blog! I know from your blog that you use Investigations at your school- so do we. I was wondering if your journal prompts correspond with the units at all ( For example, do your Fall Journal Prompts include learning from Unit 1 and 2 ?) I was hoping to find math prompts that fit Investigations!
Hey there,
The math journal prompts are not based from the Investigations series, but I think they are a great addition to any math series! Check out the feedback on the prompts to see what other teachers are saying about them:)
Thanks so much,
Anna

Hi, I am enjoying using your prompts in my classroom. My students love it when one of their names happens to be used in the prompt. Is there any way to get a copy which can I can convert to Word or Pages so I can insert my own students names in the prompts before I print them? I tried using my Adobe converter and it didn't work for the file.
Thanks!
Hey there,
I wish there was a way for me to allow this without breaking graphics copyright terms of use and distorting all the files due to fonts, etc. I'm so sorry & hope you can understand.
Thanks,
Anna

Good Morning,
I am very impressed with your materials but there are several I purchased that just come through with black blurs on the pages instead of writing. These are the ones I had problems with: complete set of math journal prompts, 1st grade common core word wall,1st grade common core essential questions ela and math, hots reading response sheets, and hots second edition. It seems like anything that had the cute clip art. Is there any way to send these to me to try again? FYI: using a MAC (don't know if it makes a difference)
Thank you so much
Hey there! Thanks so much for your purchases and kind words! So sorry you are having problems opening the files. Try the troubleshooting tips below and let me know if you can't still opening the file.
1. Make sure you are using an up to date version of Acrobat Reader.
You can check the version by clicking Help then About from within
reader. If you have a version earlier than 5.0 or 6.0, you should
update your reader.
2. If you have a Mac, you may be opening it with a Mac program
called "Preview" and not even know it. Preview has documented problems
opening modern Adobe files. If you have a Mac, try opening Adobe
Reader first (rather than just clicking on the file), then open the
file within Adobe Reader. You may also choose to set the default
reader to Adobe Reader by following the instructions here.
To change the default reader on a Mac to Adobe:
----------------------------------------------
Click on the icon of a PDF file type then choose File --> Get Info
You will see a dialog box labeled something like this "sample.pdf" Info
Near the bottom, you will see a section titled "Open With:"
That indicates what application on you Mac is the default.
Click on the pop-up to bring up the list of possible applications
and select Adobe Reader (whatever version is installed), then click
"Change All" to make it the default application for all .pdf files.
The OS will then ask you if you are sure, click "Continue."
Now the Mac will use Reader instead of Preview.
Please e-mail me at crazyforfirstgrade@hotmail.com or contact TpT customer service through the contact us link if you still have problems with the document!! I really appreciate your purchase and want to make sure you can get the problem fixed!!
Thanks,
Anna

I worked with the tech people four times and we could not get your product to print. Is there any way to mail it? This is EXACTLY what my teaching team has been looking for!
Hey! I'm so sorry for the problems you are having trying to print the math journal sets:( I've not had anyone with that issue and I've sold several of them. Have you tried more than one printer?
Thanks so much,
Anna

Anna, I LOVE your math journal prompts.... I purchased three of them this past school year, and would like to purchase the rest...in the bundle. Since I already have three of them, is there any way we can work out a different price for the bundle. I hate to ask, but money is tight this year in California and I took another cut and more furlough days. Thanks for considering this.
Hey there! Thanks for your interest in my math journal prompts. The majority of the prompts are CC aligned, but there are some about even & odd numbers, money, etc. If you click on each link for the math journal sets, I have listed the skills included in the prompts!!Hope this helps:) Thank you so much for checking out my store.

Hi. Would these be too difficult for kinder? It's hard to see what any of them are. The font is so small. Thanks!
Yes, I do think they would be difficult for kinders!!! So sorry!! Deanna Jump has great prompts for your grade level though:)
