This is an exciting, challenging game to solve problems using the order of operations. Students work as a team to see who can solve the problem first. Students change teams (mix-up) throughout the game so the game stays challenging and fun. Students are always on the move and never know whose team they will be on next. This allows students to work with students of different ability levels and one team cannot become "stacked" throughout the game. Students love this game and it keeps them engaged.

These cards range from basic order of operations to difficult. I have used them with my regular sixth grade classes up to basic 8th grade classes. They are probably going to be challenging for a 6th grade special education class. Depending on the level of your students they could probably complete some of the basic problems but you would have to pull out the more difficult problems so the students do not become overwhelmed. If you have any other questions, please let me know.
