This list of math requirements for physics and associated quiz will help make sure that your students review the math they need to really be successful in physics. I took a close look through an algebra-based physics class and listed the math that I assumed that students would know by the time they took physics. By listing these skills, I encouraged students to review and removed some of the anxiety they had about the level of math in the class. They realized that they did know this material and could be successful. Any areas students felt they needed help on could be dealt with quickly and left students in a good position for success in physics.
