The page with coins has incorrect directions. It asks students to tell the value of the "bills". This should be "coins."
The fade in of the correct answers is awesome when counting coins, and bills. However, the pages that ask students to "write" the total amount of bills and coins don't have a way for students to check their answers. This is important.
I've tweeked these few things and look forward to using the lesson with my students.

This is such an excellent lesson on counting money. It is so creative the way the you touch the correct answer and it jumps to a page congratulating them. Excellent work. Please make more soon!!!

Hi, I downloaded this free file "Counting Money". When I unzip it I see a bunch of xml and svg files but no Notebook file. What am I missing? I am using a MAC. If you can help me out will change the images to Canadian coin and send you a copy for the site. Thanks! Paula

I have taught for 15 years. Six years ago I received an electronic smartboard. I have since been developing all of my lessons with the smartboard software. I have become very adept at designing lessons and train new teachers how to use the smartboards.
