Math Stations: Place Value
This is a resource that can be used for students to practice and review whole number and decimal place value.
This resource includes:
-6 place value stations:
1. Reading and Writing Whole numbers (40 station cards)
2. Reading and Writing Decimal numbers (40 activity cards)
3. Comparing Whole numbers (20 cards)
4. Comparing Decimal numbers (40 cards)
5. Ordering Whole numbers (30 cards)
6. Ordering Decimal numbers (30 cards)
Each station includes:
*Cover sheet
*Instructions page
*Station Recording sheet
*Activity cards (# of cards varies by station-see above)
*Mini Quiz (2 or 3 questions)
-suggestions for use
-place value chart (decimals to billions)
-place value mat (decimals to billions)

These will be great stations, but I felt that the chart needed to be changed. I needed more specific columns for my students (and actual column for each individual place value instead of periods).
I'm also using the stations with small groups. I am finding they help me to break down what the students are not understanding. I'm glad they are working for you!

Page 22, quiz 2 #1 and #2 have the same answers with no answers correct. Shouldn't the answer to #1 be 5 hundredths or 59 thousandths? Answers for #3 just a typo?
