This is a three page summative math assessment with the theme of pizza which is everyone's favorite! It may be given as a final test or as a summative project. The seven questions use three levels of Bloom's Taxonomy and encompass the main points of fractions, decimals, and percents. Specific directions are provided, and three boxes of a sample project are included in the students' three page handout. The answer key and grading rubric are added for the teacher. Students are given the option of presenting the project in a variety of ways, including using a power point.

My teaching partner and I used this project with our grade seven classes as a concluding activity for our unit on percentages/ratios and fractions. The students did a great job. It was just the right level of difficulty and interest to keep them engaged and challenged. An excellent activity- thanks for the fantastic product!

I have been teaching since "the earth cooled". My husband is a teacher as well, and together we have over 75 years of teaching in the elementary, middle school, high school and college areas. My focus is mathematics while my husband's is science. We never want to do anything else because we love it! My teaching style is hands-on and energetic while using diverse teaching strategies. I try to teach ordinary things in extraordinary ways.
