These games are also listed separately and are the SAME games as those listed individually in my store.
To buy each game separately would cost $10! Save $1 and buy all the games as a set!
The purpose of this 46 page file is to allow a teacher to use the same game to reinforce and practice several different math concepts. This game is a perfect solution for more bang for your buck with teaching time. Since students are familiar with game play, because they have played the game before, they can focus on learning and practicing the new skill! The only materials needed to play are a pocket chart and the provided game cards.
The games include:
*Addition Tic-Tac-Toe- The purpose of this game is to practice addition. Students will practice up to 4 digit addition with word problems. The problems include money.
*Subtraction Tic- Tac- Toe- The purpose of this game is to practice subtraction. Students will practice subtracting up to 4 digits, subtracting across zeros and making change.
*Multiplication Tic-Tac-Toe- The purpose of this game is to practice basic multiplication and understand its meaning. Students will practice 1 digit by 1 digit multiplication with word problems.
*Division Tic-Tac-Toe- The purpose of this game is to practice basic division and understand its meaning. Students will practice division with word problems that do not include remainders.
*Making Change Tic- Tac- This is a math game that uses the tic-tac-toe format to practice making change from a given amount of money with word problems. Students will practice making change with word problems that include the least amount of change.
This package has a Note to the Teacher page, directions sheet, and game cards for each game. Also, there is a general Tic- Tac- Toe direction sheet if you would like to label the same box or envelope for student game play and then simply switch out the cards. The directions are the same for every game.
Each set of games contain:
*cover sheet
*teacher directions
*student directions
*9 word problem cards (12 for the making change game!)
* one sheet of 6 o cards
* one sheet of 6 x cards
* thank you page
* credit page
Love this! I like how you included all operations including counting change. I can use this to practice an operation or mix them together to practice identifying key words. Thanks!
