This book will help students understand the importance of map skills and give them a basic understanding of where they're located in relation to the world. Students will be introduced to the follow words:
country
state
town/city
street
house/address
It's very simple and fun to do with students! Enjoy :)
This is so cute. The only thing I don't like is the first page it shows mostly continents but then says country. I think it would be confusing to point to North America, but say United States of America. Maybe there should be a continent page first or have no names next to the countries? Just a thought! Thanks!

Hi
Like your mini unit...any chance you have a map of wisconsin? or suggest a website I could get one to match the book?
How have I missed this? Do you still need a Wisconsin map? I can find one and re vamp the book for you if you email me at erinee21@aol.com. Let me know. So sorry for the late response. Thanks! :)
Hi Erin. I am presenting at a Social Studies conference in 2 weeks and was wondering if I could share this resource with everyone. The only thing is that I am in Canada. Do you by any chance have access to a Canada map for the "country" page? If I can share this with everyone, I will also be sharing your TpT store and blog as well. If you could let me know that would be great!
