The main purpose of the unit is to build a good understanding of the measurement units, not just memorization of the conversions. This unit is very hands on and discussion is an integral part. It is not just a "worksheet" unit! Your students will love learning math and will be so engaged!
There are 6 lessons:
Lesson 1: Measuring Capacity
Lesson 2: Introducing Customary Length
Lesson 3: Introducing Metric Length
Lesson 4: Measuring Metric Mass
Lesson 5: Measuring Customary Weight
Lesson 6: Measuring Temperature
Each lesson contains:
*Teacher instructions and materials list
*A set of vocabulary word cards
*Class work activity or recording sheet
*A sheet that can be used for homework
*Unit Benchmark Recording Sheets
There is also a Bingo Review Game and 15 question Assessment with answer key.

This was exactly what I was looking for. It was hands-on and interactive. I loved how there was a homework page to reinforce the lesson. The students loved the gallon man. So much fun!

Love it! The only thing I see that I wish was different...I wish the vocab cards were all on pages together to save paper when I print.

This will take a lot of preplanning but the activities are good with the exception of the gallon man activity. I have not yet had a student who could use this to actually retain the information. It's a confusing visual. Other than that, I really liked this product.

Hi,,,,many of the pages had black smears on them..it would be helpful if the pages were numbered. Most of the pages that should have had printing, were missing the printing! Disappointing.

Did you check to see if you have the latest version of Adobe? Customers have found that this can solve the issue. It should have printed fine if you have the latest version. You can always submit a question on TPT and the seller will work with you. I have updated the file to include page numbers and table of contents. Thank you for the suggestion.
