I was slightly disappointed-I have the same thing in my math text, but thanks for trying.
On  September 11, 2011Vintage Teacher answered:
I am sorry you were disappointed. This is something that I made to help my students with ruler practice as they often do not know how to read a ruler.

This was a great short exercise. I used it as the lesson for my regular 7th graders and as a warm-up for my honors students. I plan to use it again this year. Thanks.
On  August 25, 2010Vintage Teacher answered:
I am glad you found it useful as a beginning exercise. My sixth graders usually cannot read a ruler successfully so I use this to practice with basic ruler reading. Thank you for your purchase.

Exactly the paper I needed to use today with my beginning math students to learn about the ruler! Where did you get the ruler graphic? I have been searching google images, microsoft clip art, etc. for something like that and haven't been able to find one. I'd appreciate it if you would be willing to share that with me. There is so often I need a graphic with a very simple ruler to practice measuring skills.
