**Note: This is the metric version of Measurement: Connecting Tools, Units, and Types of Measure. It now includes 2 sets of anchor charts and student recording sheets with the US, Canadian, and Australian spellings: meters, centimeters, and millimeters as well as metres, centimetres, and millimetres. Please be sure to choose the spelling you wish to use before printing.

My students had a really hard time connecting measurement vocabulary. They knew that to measure how tall someone is they would use a ruler and measure in meters/metres and centimeters/centimetres. They just weren't connecting to the fact that they were measuring height. So...I made this little activity to help them practice and to really drive the point home!

Included:
8 anchor charts (height, weight, length, and width with tools, metric units and types of measure- 4 with each spelling)
12 task cards
student recording sheet (2 sided)

Why couldn't one set of posters show the comparison between the measurements? I was a little disappointed in that there were two sets of posters in the kit. Why would I need to pay for two sets of the same item? I Can print however many copies of the poster I need for my students. As a paraprofessional, who makes very little but enjoys her job, I found the extra copies of the poster a waste of my money. Now I feel I need to take more of my time to make up a comparison chart to supplement this.

Hi there,
I'm sorry you were disappointed with your purchase and confused about the extra pages. Did you by chance download the preview before purchasing? It is very important to download the preview so that you can see exactly what is included in the file as well as the specific types of anchor charts. That way you can determine if it is something you can use in your classroom and wish to purchase.

After posting this product I had a several requests for the Canadian and Australian spellings of meter/metre, centimeter/centimetre so I added additional pages with those spellings at no extra cost to the buyer. I was also very careful to add this as the first line of the product description: "**Note: This is the metric version of Measurement: Connecting Tools, Units, and Types of Measure. It now includes anchor charts and student recording sheets with the US, Canadian, and Australian spellings: meters, centimeters, and millimeters as well as metres, centimetres, and millimetres. "

Again, I'm so sorry you were disappointed and I will add an additional note in the description for buyers to be sure to choose the spelling they wish to use before printing.

I hope this helps to explain the extra pages and my purpose for including them.
Linda
