I have introduced media literacy to my juniors. It is a very broad topic considering the amount of media there is these day. However, we study several the media in several differnt forms and analyze how it impacts us. As a final assessment,the students write a persuasive research paper in which they look at ONE small aspect of the media such as "Is texting ruining grammar" or "Does the media unfairly portray cops?".
