PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Students learn about feudalism and the different roles of the groups of people in the hierarchy during medieval life. On this one-page worksheet, students describe "pros" and "cons" of being a KING, NOBLE (lord), KNIGHT, and a SERF. I use this along with a video about the four groups of people, but students could also use their textbook or research on the internet or in library books to complete this worksheet.

Great for use with video or textbook. It could also be used as a "show what you know" activity after watching a video or taking notes.

Product Questions & Answers

On  September 10, 2012Erin Schneider (TpT Seller) asked:
I'm super interested in this. We have three videos from Schlessinger Media. Do you show just one on the Middle Ages? Can you tell me how long the one you show is? I'm trying to use process of elimination to find out which video you use. :)

Thanks!

I found this web site that showcases the three videos (23 min. each) I use for this worksheet (Noble, Knight, and Serf). I usually just show part of each video (maybe 15 min. each). We discuss "King" together before they watch the other three videos. The series is called "Life in the Middle Ages":

You mentioned that you use the pros and cons along with a video. What is the name of the particular video that you use in your classroom? Thanks!

It is actually a DVD series from Schlessinger Media called "Life in the Middle Ages." It's awesome! There is a separate short DVD for serf, knight, noble, etc. Hope this helps!
