I used this for fifth graders, and we sent cards to the troops for Patriot day! I loved the cute pictures, and it encouraged kids to use non-violent ways to depict the troops and what they do for us.

Thank you for your suggestion. Unfortunately the graphic artist I used for this product does not currently have the black and white images of these graphics :-( However, I will email her and see if she can create them for me because I also think it would be great for students to color the images themselves. Again, thanks for the suggestion! I won't be able to get this request filled by Patriot's Day, but I will definitely work on it, as soon as I can. :)

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have been teaching for five years and each year I love it more. In five short years I have had a tremendous amount of invaluable experiences. I have taught 3 years as a second grade teacher. 1 year as a pilot teacher for a 2/3 multiage classroom. I am also currently teaching a 3/4 multiage class. I also am current facilitating a school wide professional development on incorporating Cooperative Learning into the classroom. I am also apart of my districts math common core curriculum development committe.
