This 10-page handout of information about Mexico can be used as a "textbook chapter" when teaching about our neighbor to the south. Your students will learn about the land, water, climate, products, natural resources, landmarks, government, money, and culture of the Mexico. Also includes an anticipation guide with questions to use before and after reading.
While this packet was written to correspond to Florida's Next Generation Sunshine State Standards for 3rd grade Social Studies when I couldn't find anything else appropriate for my students, "Mexico: Our Neighbor to the South" is also perfect for 4th, 5th, or 6th graders studying the countries of North America.
