This is a review of nouns (common & proper), verbs (action & linking) and adjectives.
There are 11 sentences each with an underlined word. The student will drag the name of the part of speech from the box to the underlined word.
I have each student's name on a popcicle stick and choose students at random to come to use the whiteboard.
Alternately, you could pair students up or place them in teams and have them work cooperatively or possibly compete.

I am in my 18th year of teaching. I taught for ten years in the Orange County (Florida) Public School system at primarily the sixth grade level. During that time I taught Language Arts, remedial reading, social studies and exceptional student education (aka special education). Then for 6 years I taught sixth grade Math, Language Arts and Social Studies to sixth graders in a private, independent school. Now I am back in public school and am teaching students with Special Needs.
