Children learn to live like writers by paying attention to what goes on in the world around them. If they do this, children can recognize that the world is a place full of ideas for writing that can be recorded on-the-go.
Use these two minilessons to help launch "Idea Notebooks" in your classroom, which are basically flip pads that can be used as portable writer's notebooks.
Please rate these lessons after you download the bundle. (The preview just includes the first two components of the first minilesson.)
