PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This review/assessment is modeled after the game show Minute to Win It. I use this power point as a review for testing but could be used to assess prior knowledge. It tests/reviews students' knowledge about regular/irregular verbs, transitive/intransitive verbs, verb tenses, verbals, and contains a review of appositives and predicate nouns. To play, students take a sheet of paper and number it 1-6 for each "round." The power point is already timed to give students 10 seconds to answer each of the 6 questions - a total of 1 minute. You then have a 3 minute time to check answers as a group or individually. There is a total of 5 rounds. The kids love this and because of the "timed" aspect, they really have to think on their feet. I have an assessment (Unit Test - Verbs/Verbals) that compliments this game and has the game answer key. The power point is easily adapted to meet your needs or to use as a template to create your own Minute to Win It game. It can be used with a Smart Board or as a stand alone.
