Students reading Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins will enjoy making their own rebel "propo" propaganda video.
This assignment is differentiated for varying abilities: two of the options are more structured with specific details for those who are less creative; the other two options offer greater flexibility and creativity.
The six pages include student guidelines, storyboard templates for planning, grading rubric, and a teacher's guide for each option (with example storyboard panels).
Students can use iMovie, Powerpoint, or any other video-editing or slideshow programs.

I've been teaching at my current public high school for twelve years, and have a total of 16 years experience. Most of my experience is teaching high school English and journalism classes; however, for several years I taught an art history class. I teach all levels--from honors students to special education students; therefore, I'm constantly modifying my assignments to fit my students' needs.
