Two web-based activities that give your students a chance to work with DNA Replication, Transcription, and Translation simulations. Detailed questions that go along with the Internet websites are provided. This would work well in any biology or life science classroom.
1st activity requires Macromedia Flash Player (a free download) and 2nd activity requires Shockwave (a free download) Downloading these two players will open a wide range of internet simulations to your students!

Very thorough presentation of website's content without losing student interest. All of my students enjoyed this activity, though the website could be a little slow during high-traffic times.

Nicole has taught for taught for 6 years in the public schools. Enriching her students lives through the study of General Science, Geophysical Science, Biology, and Physics has given her an understanding of common pitfalls that students face and how best to handle them. She is also an adjunct instructor at a local University in their Science Department.
