A differentiated math work station activity to introduce paying for items with dollars and understanding concepts of having enough or not enough money.
Students use one-to-one correspondence to figure out if they have enough money (dollars) to pay for various items.
The activity is differentiated for students who need practice with exact dollar amounts, and also for students who understand or are working on rounding to the next dollar when change is involved.
