Money: Super Dog Barks Money
Assessment Check/Center/Posters
This product is great to use as a quick assessment for your students. Just call them up have them pull a card and answer. Would also do well in a center after students have practiced counting coins. This product contains Storage Label, 5 Content money cards to be used along with the song: Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. There are 20 coin cards to count and 20 word problem cards. Word problems will really help you determine if students have grasped the understanding of coin value as well as the ability to solve a word problem. If students need to use coin counters as you ask the questions that is perfectly fine. Some students may be able to solve problems without concrete materials to count on.

Thank you for these! I have used them as one-on-one assessment and also as a kind of "Jeopardy" game- I will put one of the questions on the Smartboard and have one student solve it (after their group checks it). If they get it wrong, the other team has a chance to answer. Your product has been extremely helpful!

Can you give me an example of a more difficult money word problem included in this center activity?
Teaching Monkey- I teach 2nd grade and the CC for this standard states that students must be able to solve money word problems etc...you have 3 quarters, 8 dimes, 5 nickels and 8 pennies. How much money do you have?
Just wanted to make sure they were challenging enough, the ones in the preview aren't that hard. Thank you!
