With this literacy center, students will practice building words with onset and rimes. There are 43 rimes included as well as consonant cards and 17 initial blend cards. Students will create a book with the words that they have built. This center is easily differentiated for many levels in Kindergarten and First Grade.

This is my ninth year teaching and I love what I do! I adore teaching kindergarteners to read, write, and calculate! I have a master's degree in reading education, bachelors degrees in elementary education and Norwegian, and endorsements in ELL, kindergarten and have a reading credential.
